Social Media is a conversation.

You are sharing your stories, articles, images and things you love. When someone engages with you on those things it is a great idea to respond to their comment. This helps build your social media presence, it establishes your “brand” on Facebook and engagement is also rewarded by Facebook’s algorithms. This means responding to those comments not only helps engage your current audience but could help attract new followers as well.

We have all heard how important it is to maintain a consistent presence on our social media platforms. However, there are days that posting to Facebook once or twice a day just won’t fit on the schedule, right?

You can now schedule these posts in advance. Upload your image, write your caption, and schedule in advance. Hassle free and will keep you ahead of the game when it comes to posting consistency.

When you sign in to create a status you will see the above not pop up above the post button. Click on the link for Publishing Tools.

You will be redirected to the page shown above. Here you can create posts and schedule them for dates in advance, as well as track engagement and reach of those posts.

Facebook stories are a way to share images and video content that will not post to your page. These stories disappear after 24 hours but still help you engage with your followers. This is a super easy and fun way to share information but not fill up your timeline.

Another tip: If you are sharing an Instagram story and you have your Facebook and Instagram accounts linked you can push that Instagram story directly to Facebook. Even easier!

Did you know almost 50% of Facebook users are mobile users only?

At least half of your Facebook following is not checking your page from their computer. That means it is very important that you are sharing content that is mobile friendly. Image size, caption link and clickable links are all a huge priority when it comes to sharing on Facebook.

So, you’ve done the work of engaging well with your current audience. But what about gaining new followers?

Boosting your post is an easy way to share your posts out to a wider audience and the best thing is that it is completely customizable and inexpensive.

Select the demographic you want to reach, set your budget and share. Your post will circulate to that audience on Facebook until the dollar amount you set has been reached.

Note - make sure you are reading Facebook’s guidelines on this. Because they are basically sharing content for you, they have very specific rules about what you can and cannot include in these boosted posts. Read first so you don’t spend money on a post that Facebook deems unable to boost.
